The REWIND project will develop critical technologies for dismantling wind turbine blades and implement of new methodologies for composites repurposing and recycling to increase their circularity.

The REWIND Project partners held a progress meeting on November 6th and 7th 20024 in a special plant for recycling in France, hosted by the SUEZ Group.

Representatives from the 14 consortium partners joined to discuss the project’s initial achievements in addressing end-of-life treatment solutions for wind turbine blades, with a focus on reuse, repair, and recycling.

During the two-day meeting, the project partners shared updates on progress over the past six months and presented their plans for next six months. For Miljøskærm this will include preparations to start planned R&D activities in the second half of 2025.

The REWIND project partners are: AIMPLAS, TEKNIKER, IPC, Miljøskærm, Hochschule Pforzheim, DIFT, Alke Electric Vehicles, Suez Group, bcircular, Composite Patch, TPI Composites Inc, R-Nanolab, CiaoTech (Gruppo PNO) and AEMAC.
