Recycling of materials is essential for Olav de Linde, one of Denmark’s leading private real estate companies. They contacted Miljøskærm as they wanted a large fiberglass boat hull to be recycled instead of being discarded in the traditional way.

The hull was left on the quay in the port of Aarhus when a shipyard went bankrupt many years ago and in the summer 2020 we commenced the job.

Together with Marius Pedersen A/S, Miljøskærm conducted that the hull was cut to pieces and removed from the quayside. After processing, the recycled material is now used as noise absorbing material in our noise barriers.
