Miljøskærm recycled the fiberglass material when the municipality of Halsnæs cleaned up the nearby recreational areas collecting discarded and abandoned dinghies that had floated onto the beaches.

The hulls were brought to the local recycling company DeNova and Miljøskærm processed the fiberglass for a new application in noise barriers. The local media TV2Lorry and DR P4 Copenhagen came by to see how it happened.
